The Professional Colombian Baseball League (Liga Profesional de Béisbol Colombiano) has announced the teams on the roster for the 2023-2024 season. The four teams on the roster are: Caimanes de Barranquilla, Tigres de Cartagena, Vaqueros de MonterÃa, and Leones de Santa Marta.
At the end of the regular baseball season, the team that finishes first in the standings will directly qualify for the final. The second and third-placed teams will compete in a best-of-5 semi-final series to determine the other finalist. The team that finishes fourth will be eliminated. The championship series will decide the winner over 7 games.
The ticket price during the regular season in the host cities of Barranquilla, Cartagena, and MonterÃa will be $15,000 COP. Telecaribe will provide television coverage for the entire season.
The Édgar RenterÃa stadium will host Caimanes de Barranquilla and Leones. The Once de Noviembre stadium will host the Tigres. Finally, the Dieciocho de Junio stadium in MonterÃa will be the venue for the Vaqueros.
Games scheduled from Monday to Friday will take place at 7:00 p.m. Saturday games will be at 5:00 p.m., and Sunday games will be at 4:00 p.m.
