Cinema Day is coming and movie ticket prices will be $6,000 throughout Colombia.
According to the initiative, the pricing also applies to new releases and in 2D, 3D, or 4D formats; likewise for general or preferential seats and at any time.
Watching movies in theaters is one of the favorite plans for thousands of people, groups of friends, and families in Colombia, who increasingly opt for this type of entertainment that allows them to enter another environment and be distracted by the big screen.
When is Cinema Day?
Cinema Day, or Día del Cine, will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024. Several theater chains have come together to establish low prices that motivate users to massively attend movie theaters to enjoy their favorite films for just $6,000.
Ticket pre-sales will take place from 8pm on March 5th to March 8th.
The initiative was initially announced by Cine Colombia on its social media, promoting the cost at $6,000 on March 8th. This promotion will extend to all movie theaters in the country, including Royal Films, Cinépolis, Cine Mark, Cineland, and Cinemas Procinal.
The lineup of movies to be screened on this special day covers a wide variety of genres and styles to satisfy all tastes. From thrilling adventures to touching dramas, through hilarious comedies and fast-paced action movies, the offer is truly diverse and exciting.
The last Cinema Day took place in September 2023.
