On May 25, 2023, millions of people attended one of the most renowned food festivals in the country: Burger Master. 22 cities hosted a festival that continues to establish itself as one of the most attractive on a national level.
In Barranquilla, 23 restaurants participated in the event, and over the course of 8 days, diners formed long lines, filling up restaurants in search of the perfect burger.
In its 2023 edition, Burger Master managed to sell 2,890,154 hamburgers, which translates to 57 billion pesos in economic figures.
According to Tulio Zuluaga, better known as Tulio Recomienda, the festival’s creator, they received over 420,000 votes, and the winners were announced on Tuesday.
The Best Hamburgers in Barranquilla:
The people of Barranquilla chose ‘Máximo Meridio’ from the restaurant Legendario Burger and Steak as the ideal burger. This gastronomic marvel is made with potato bread, tomato, 150g of Certified Angus Beef, American cheese, smoked and caramelized pulled pork, crunchy onion, and the house’s hot smoke sauce.
The top five also included hamburgers from Tropique, Burger Stock, Burger Street, and Coliseo.
Additionally, Kobe Sushi & Burger and La Hierra received special mentions.
