Spinning Center Gym is expanding its portfolio in 2023 with the launch of Spinning Center CLUB in Buenavista 2, Barranquilla.
Spinning Center Club will have a closed inauguration on Friday, December 1st at its Buenavista 2 location in Barranquilla. The club will be open to the public as of Saturday, December 2nd. This is a new concept covering 4,600 square meters, integrating entertainment, health, sports, wellness, and gastronomy. It is located in the Buenavista 2 shopping center in Barranquilla, where Divercity used to operate. The new club will include 16 state-of-the-art bowling lanes (Brunswick brand), 6 pool tables, a coworking space, a stage for performances, and a By Rausch restaurant-bar. The renowned chef Jorge Rausch designed the menu. The gym itself is 2,200 square meters.
Current rates are as following:
- Spinning Center Gym members can reserve a bowling lane for one hour and will cost $80,000 COP for up to six (6) people, plus they receive a 10% off on food and drinks.
- NON-Spinning Center members can reserve a bowling lane for one hour and will cost $120,000 COP for up to six (6) people.
- Billiards: one table for one hour is $60,000 COP for the VIP table (has a small private area)
- Billiards: one table for one hour is $50,000 COP for the regular tables up to four (4) people
The reception of this establishment has been so positive that there are already more than 3,000 gym members to date.
Setting up a ‘premium’ location incurs a cost of $1.5 billion COP, while an investment of approximately $11 billion COP is made for the Club format, covering all its components.
As of now, Spinning Center Gym has 35,000 members in Colombia, but with the new openings, they aim to reach 50,000 by the end of the year. Moreover, it is anticipated that the new business models will generate revenue ranging from $50 billion to $60 billion by the close of 2023.
