Organizers have announced the dates for Sabor Barranquilla 2024. Sabor Barranquilla is a yearly food festival promoting Colombian Caribbean cuisine.
On a watermelon-shaped raft, an experienced navigator travels along the Magdalena River, the cultural, social, economic, and historical axis of Colombia. The river originates from a ladle that bestows gifts and riches, offerings from its landscape. There, the topito chili, banana, garlic, onion, and fish blend together as ambassadors of the common flavor map of traditional kitchens.

The gastronomic festival, organized by the Colombian Red Cross Atlantic Section, Corferias, and Fenalco Atlántico, will take place at the Puerta de Oro, Caribbean Event Center. This is the perfect meeting point to taste the flavors present in the culinary culture of the Caribbean.
When and where is the Sabor Barranquilla food festival?
You can catch the Sabor Barranquilla festival from August 22 to 25, 2024, at the Puerta de Oro Convention Center. It is one of the largest gastronomic fairs in the region and one of the most important events in the Colombian food festival calendar.
Tickets can be purchased from Sabor Barranquilla’s website. Each ticket is $18,000 COP for adults and $10,000 COP for children.
After the food festival, we recommend walking off some of those calories by taking a stroll down the Gran Malecón del Río, or the Grand Boardwalk of Barranquilla, and taking in some lovely views of the Magdalena River.
