Junior and Medellín meet again in a league final after five years. A showdown that has become prominent in recent times in Colombian football, clashing up to four times in the quest for a title (three in the league and one in the Copa Colombia).
The overall balance favors Junior, who won two out of the three finals: the Copa Colombia in 2017 and the Liga BetPlay in the second half of 2018.
This fourth face-off will kick off this Sunday when Junior and Medellín face each other in the first leg of the Liga II-2023 final at the Metropolitano Stadium at 4 p.m. The return leg will be contested on Wednesday, December 13, at the Atanasio Stadium in Medellín, starting at 8 p.m.
